Longtime vacant site transformed into residential lifestyle village
Wynnum Land Group is proposing to revitalise a site adjacent to Wynnum Central Train Station, delivering a vibrant new multi-residential community. One West Avenue will feature a range of apartments and villas, supported by lifestyle, retail and commercial spaces
Late last year, Brisbane City Council designated Wynnum as a priority Suburban Renewal Precinct. One West Avenue will provide much needed housing and business space opportunities, better connect the area, and act as a catalyst for the renewal of central Wynnum.
The project will enhance streetscapes and pedestrian connectivity to the train station and nearby commercial areas.
Ground level spaces will provide opportunities for cafes and local meeting places and enliven the precinct.

Artist’s impression: Shared residential spaces, will include co-working, pools and a gym, to create a vibrant place.

An ideal site for renewal
The two-hectare site is well suited for renewal, immediately next to Wynnum Central Station, between Colina Street and West Avenue, adjacent to Kitchener Park and sporting clubs, and just blocks from central Wynnum.
One West Avenue will provide approximately 400 apartments and 12 villas, along with select commercial spaces, across three lots and seven buildings.
Approximately 900 carparks, 500 bicycle parks, 150 e-scooter parks, and 12 golf buggy / mobility scooter parks will support the precinct.
